196: Finding the Right Support For You

196: Finding the Right Support For You

Let’s talk about finding the right place to get help for YOU. Whether it’s a Coach, a Therapist, or a Program - there are a lot of things to explore in getting the answers or healing that wound that you’ve been keeping to yourself. Trying to find the right person or program - can be overwhelming and you get caught up and miss getting help. Work instead of taking one chance or one shot at getting help. How sometimes it’s not just one place, one thing, or one person that helps, it’s a series of people who helped you out with something.

Sharing some ideas and guide questions for you to reflect on:

  • Think about what style of therapy or coaching you want - there are so many styles of approach out there

  • Is there someone in front of you that you started talking to?

  • What is your goal with what you are going through?

  • Are you willing to invest time, energy, and money to do the work?

  • When you are looking for someone or a program or whatever you’re looking to, have they gotten results for others or been able to help others in a way with the thing that you are working through?

  • This program/coach, have they experienced what you’ve experienced? Are they living their lives the way you want to live yours after walking through this grief?

Are you ready to stop cycling in the pain and anguish of grief? What if you could get a moment of calm and respite? After your child dies, everything feels hopeless and dark, and it’s hard to even think straight. Staying in survival mode keeps the cycle going.
